Sunday Shoot

I was bad and didn't do a Sunday Shoot for the last two Sundays. I'm getting back on track though. I brought a bunch of shoes back to my dorm from home to see any of them would go with my bridesmaid dress for my roommate's wedding in May. After I finished showing them to her, they ended up in a pile on the floor. Something about my pretty shoes all tossed together seemed attractive to me, so I took pictures of them instead of putting them away... I'l do that later. ;-)

Sunday Shoot

Well, I sprained my ankle on Friday afternoon, so I haven't been able to go anywhere. I've been spending a little too much time in my dorm room for my liking, but for my Sunday Shoot I focused on something in my room that makes me happy. Well two things really, my Willow Tree collection and books.

I have to be honest, I actually did this Sunday Shoot on Saturday. I did my roommate and her fiance's engagement pictures yesterday in Greenville and got this shot of at Falls Park. I really love this tree, but I have no idea what it is. Does anyone know?

Sunday Shoot

Today's photo came from Yonges Island, SC. I was getting some video and still shots of Christ St. Paul's Episcopal Parish for a project for my video class and went across the street to get some shots of their old church building. I love the mission look of the church and mossy trees around it. I got over there at the perfect time with this sunlight coming gorgeously through the mossy branches.

So, this is really late. But I promise I took the pictures on Sunday. They're from Pendleton, which reminded me of Abbeville (which reminds me of Bartow). I just love how quaint it is!


This is my favorite shot of the day. Possibly because it's so darn cute!

So I went to a really fun location for my Sunday Shoot, but I got back late, so I'm going to wait until Monday to post them. I know I'm slacking off. Don't worry, it won't become a habit.

So this subject may seem simple, but it actually includes some of my favorite things: yellow, pink, and teal; a flower; ribbons; random blueberry pop bottle from Maine; damask curtains; and sunlight. Maria (not my roommate) sings about her favorite things, and I take pictures of mine. :)
