Megan & Lance - Florida Wedding Photographer

This is a wedding I second shot with my sister Tina Sargeant in Gainesville, FL. The bride and groom were just really sweet, down to earth people, and I just loved their amazing nature-based details.

Maria's Bridals - Anderson Wedding Photographer

My roomie is absolutely stunning! I always love taking pictures of her because she never fails to be an amazing subject and model. We squeezed these portraits in right before we graduated, and shot them on the front lawn of Anderson University with a few right inside Merrit Lobby. I feel so priveleged to have been able to do this session. I actually started to tear up when she was getting ready just at seeing my roommate look like a bride!

Jess Bridals - Charleston Wedding Photographer

So I made a blogging faux-pas and forgot to follow up my preview of Jess's bridal session with a full post! Jess, one of my old college suitemates, is one of the sweetest people I know. We did these bridal portraits at Edisto Beach months after her wedding, so she was completely relaxed and we just had a lot of fun. She looks absolutely lovely and in her element on this driftwood filled beach.

Kate & Jeff - Charleston Wedding Photographer

This is an older wedding that I missed posting back when the weather was still warm. Kate and Jeff had a beautiful wedding with elegant details. The ceremony was at Holy Cross Episcopal Church on Sullivan's Island with the reception on Goldbug Island. She is gorgeous and was a glowing and expressive bride. And I love the shot of Jeff captivated by his bride while she dedicated a song to him during the reception. They way both so clearly adore each other is what I love about my job.

Jeanne & Jordan - Charleston Wedding Photographer

Well, to say I've gotten behind in blogging is an understatement. This week I am committed to posting daily to bring things up to date. I'm also going to start using this photo blog to share wedding ideas. I had a DIY/Budget wedding blog once upon a time, but rather than worry about maintaining two blogs, I'm going to have them both in one. I recently got engaged, so I should have some fun ideas to share as I delve into wedding planning.

Now, here are a few photos from Jeanne & Jordan's wedding. Their ceremony was in the Summerall Chapel at the Citadel and the reception was at the Embassy Suites downtown. They were so relaxed and just enjoyed their day. The rain kept us inside for couples portraits, but we got creative with an elevator and staircase windows and had fun (at least I did!). :)

Maria & Michael E-Session

It was such an honor to be able to do my roommate's engagement pictures. I've posted pictures of them before, but those were just impromptu pictures that I took because I couldn't resist; but of course they wanted official engagement pictures too. And I loved taking them. It was a crazy semester for all of us, but we finally found a weekend when all three of us were able to sneak away to Greenville for pictures. We started off at Falls Park (where they got engaged) and then just wandered around downtown until and ended at Luna Rosa--the amazing Gelato shop where they actually went the night Michael proposed.
